Roads Closed Around Lower Providence As Heavy Rains Hit

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — Heavy rain and flooding led to road closures across Lower Providence Monday morning.

Flooding has hit the Park Pointe Business Park especially heavily, the township reports. Emergency crews are on site.

That includes Trooper Road, Van Buren Ave., and Jefferson Ave.

The 400 block of S. Park Avenue has also been hit hard.

Dozens of water rescues are in progress around the county.

Motorists are reminded to never drive through moving or standing water and to always turn around.
