Route 422 Lanes Closing In Lower Providence Next Week
Lane closures will be in effect two days next week as crews work to inspect bridges, PennDOT said.
LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — Lane closures are scheduled next week on U.S. 422 in Lower Providence next week for bridge inspections, PennDOT said.
The work schedule is:
Monday, Aug. 26, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., a right lane closure is scheduled on westbound U.S. 422 between the Trooper Road and Egypt Road interchanges in Lower Providence and Upper Providence townships;

Tuesday, Aug. 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a left lane closure is scheduled on eastbound U.S. 422 between the Egypt Road and Trooper Road interchanges in Lower Providence and Upper Providence townships.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.
