Santa Claus Is Coming To Lower Providence, But On A New Schedule
Santa Claus will ride the fire truck to check on the boys and girls in Lower Providence. Find out where and when.

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA β Santa Claus will ride the fire truck to check on all the boys and girls in Lower Providence.
With the assistance of the Lower Providence Fire Department, Santa will ride through the township's parks on Saturday, Dec. 16.
Unlike previous years, the truck will not visit every street and neighborhood in the township, but will instead visit certain township parks for 45 minutes each, the fire department said.

"We apologize if you were looking forward to Santa coming down your block, but again with an ever-increasing work load and limited resources, we must prioritize public safety and manage non-essential activities. Thank you for your continued support and understanding," the department said in a statement.
Santa's helpers will also be collecting canned goods and donations at every stop.

The schedule is as follows:
- Audubon Recreation Field - 1200 Pawlings Road Audubon, PA 9:30 - 10:15
- Eagleville Park - 100 Parklane Drive Eagleville, PA 9:30 - 10:15
- Redtail Park - 1117 Redtail Road Audubon, PA 10:30 - 11:15
- Evansburg Point Park - 160 Level Road Collegeville, PA 10:30 - 11:15
- Francesco A Mascaro Memorial Park (Baseball Field) - 2759 Woodland Ave 12:45 - 1:30
- Sherwood Park β 413 Ashley Circle Trooper, PA 12:45 - 1:30
A rain date has been set for Saturday, Dec. 23.
