OAKS, PA β€” Cirque du Soleil is just a matter of weeks away from returning to Montgomery County, as the Big Top will take its place at the Greater Philadelphia Area Expo Center in Oaks as it has for years.

The tour through Oaks, which begins in late September, is Cirque's North American debut of their 2023 event, "Bazaar."

Organizers described this year's theme as a "high energy collision of sounds and colors."

Acts include parkour, rope skipping, roller skating, contemporary dance, use of bungees, batons, acrobatic ladders, unicycles, and much more.

"Lead by their maestro, they band together to invent a whimsical one-of-a-kind universe," Cirque du Soleil said of the event. "In a place where the unexpected is expected, the colorful group imagines, builds and invents vibrant scenes in an artistic and acrobatic game. Come and claim your place amidst this marketplace of merriment and creative camaraderie. You just might find that the end of the story is really only the beginning."

Cirque du Soleil has been operating since 1984. Their Big Top, arena, and circus shows are performed around the world.
