Sinkhole Shuts Down Eagleville Road

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — Crews are on the scene in Lower Providence repairing a sinkhole on Eagleville Road.

The road is closed between Sunnyside Avenue and Park Avenue, the township said.

Officials estimate that it will take PennDOT crews around an hour to repair the hole.

Motorists should expect the road to be reopened before noon.
