Six-Month Closure On King Of Prussia Road Begins Oct. 17: See Details
Part of King of Prussia Road in both Tredyffrin and Upper Merion Township will be closed for 6 months during an Aqua Pennsylvania project.
UPPER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA β Part of King of Prussia Road will be closed in Upper Merion and Tredyffrin townships for more than six months beginning October 17, officials said.
Aqua Pennsylvania plans to close King of Prussia Road between Croton Road and Upper Gulph Road in the two townships beginning that Monday for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said.
The road closure will be in place Mondays through Fridays until Friday, April 28, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., PennDOT said.

Drivers will be directed to use Upper Gulph Road, Radnor Street Road, and Croton Road to get around the road work. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.
"Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur," a notice said. "All scheduled activities are weather dependent."

Aqua will be doing utility improvement work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit, officials said.
