Skippack Pike Detour

Due to Turnpike bridge construction, Skippack Pike (Route 73) in Whitpain township will be closed to traffic late Wednesday night through early Thursday morning, and a detour a will be provided.  The closure will protect both motorists and road workers.

The Skippack Pike Turnpike underpass will close and traffic will be detoured on Wednesday, June 26 at 10pm through Thursday, June 27 at 6am between Bethel Road and DeKalb Pike (Route 202).  Message boards will inform motorists of the situation.

The detour routes will bring traffic to Bethel Road, Morris Road, and DeKalb Pike.  Local road access on Skippack Pike will be available from both sides of the bridge, though no traffic will be allowed through the underpass while Skippack Pike is closed.
