Snapshot: Library Patrons See 'Visions of Arcadia'
Lower Providence Community Library hosted a presentation by the Philadelphia Art Museum, Aug. 20.
The Aug. 20 presentation at the Lower Providence Community Library, showcased the current featured exhibit of the Philadelphia Art Museum.
Philadelphia Art Museum guide Fern Denney provided the multimedia presentation, which discussed the theme of an earthly paradise, or “Arcadia,” in through the paintings of the early 1900s.
“She’s done a few Art Museum programs here in the past, and she is very knowledgeable,” Meg Mozi, who works with Lower Providence Library’s Adult Services, said in an e-mail.

According to Mozi, 20 people attended the “Visions of Arcadia” presentation, and had expressed plans to attend the Philadelphia Art Museum, prior to the featured exhibition’s close in early September.
