Numerous Roads Shut Down In Lower Providence
A tree has been cleared from Trooper Road, but flooding is having a significant impact in the local area.
Update, 2:30 p.m.: Germantown Pike is closed at Skippack Creek, and Arcola Road is closed at Level Road, due to flooding in the Skippack and Perkiomen creeks.
South Park Avenue and Miami Avenue are closed due to a fallen tree.
All other roads have been reopened.

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA β Tuesday's storm continues to have a significant impact on the Lower Providence area.
South Park Avenue is shut down due to the flooding Tuesday morning, police said.

In addition, South Trooper Road at Van Buren Avenue, Van Buren at Jefferson Avenue, and Eagleville Road at Bunting Circle are all shut down.
South Trooper Road was reopened just after 8:30 a.m. after a downed tree was removed from the roadway near Mill Road, but further incidents led to a closure after 11 a.m.

Elsewhere nearby, flooding has also led to the closure of the DeKalb Street Bridge between Norristown and Bridgeport, and a portion of North Wales Road in East Norriton.
Montgomery County is under a flash flood watch through midnight, and a tornado watch through 4 p.m.
