Stargaze with the Entire Family at Arcola

Methacton's Mallon Planetarium open to all this spring for family event.

Many in the Lower Providence area know about the school district's planetarium. But, few get to go outside of school field trips. This spring, those of all ages will have their chance to catch a glimpse of the starry nights.

Mallon Planetarium will be open to the public on May 3 as it presents "The Little Star That Could," according to a release from the school district.

"'The Little Star That Could' is a story about Little Star, an average yellow star in search for planets of his own to protect and warm," said the release. "Along the way, he meets other stars, learns what makes each star special, and discovers that stars combine to form star clusters and galaxies."
