Authorities Led To Lower Providence Body, News Video Shows
A man who turned himself in to police in connection with a Lower Providence homicide is seen in TV news footage taking cops to the body.
LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — A Delaware County man who reportedly turned himself in to Upper Darby police Thursday in connection with an apparent homicide in Lower Providence was seen on local television news footage leading investigators to the site of the dumped body in a local wooded area.
The suspect, who has not yet been named, but resides in Upper Darby, is seen in handcuffs leading police in Montgomery County to the site of the woman's body, according to footage from 6 ABC.
On Thursday, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office announced that a "relationship-based" homicide occurred, although they were tight-lipped on details, other than to say a body had been recovered and an autopsy would be performed on Friday by the Montgomery County Coroner's Office.

Charges have not yet been filed against the suspect, and Montgomery County authorities traveled to Delaware County on Thursday to interview the man.
The identity of the deceased woman has also not yet been released.

Montgomery County authorities stated Thursday that the man had turned himself in to Upper Darby police to report the apparent homicide. The woman's body was recovered in Lower Providence Township at the Schuylkill River Trail's Betzwood Trailhead.
