The Audubon Recreation Association 8U Girls Softball Team Win State Softball Championship
Local softball team wins state championship and will advance to regional championships.

Monday evening was cause for celebration for the Audubon Recreation Association (ARA) 8U girls softball team after they won the 2013 Babe Ruth Pennsylvania State Softball Championship at the ARA complex in Audubon.
The tournament, held at the ARA complex, featured 11 teams. The ARA girls team defeated the Daniel Boone Inferno team in two straight games in order to take the championship.
The softball team will next travel to Mount Olive, New Jersey to participate in the Babe Ruth Regional Championships that will be held from July 17th through July 21st. This regional championship will feature 10 teams from New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and Maryland.
