Wine and Dine at the Library?
Lower Providence Library is planning a 'Novel Affair' for March 23.

You go to the library for books. You go to use the computers. You go to even rent videos. But wining and dining at your local library? That seems odd.
But on Friday, March 23 from 7 to 10 p.m., Lower Providence residents can do just that. The "Novel Affair" scheduled to be held at the Lower Providence Community Library, at 50 Parklane Drive in Eagleville, will offer wine, food and drink for the three-hour fundraiser.
According to the library's website, tickets are $45 per person in advance or $50 at the door. Only those 21 and over are permitted to attend. All proceeds go to benefit the library.
