Woodland Elementary School to be Designated as ‘No Place for Hate’
The Methacton School District school will join the more than 200 other 'No Place for Hate' schools across the nation.

In a press release issued by Methacton School District, Woodland Elementary School will be designated as a “No Place for Hate” school. The distinction comes after having completed a year of anti-bias and anti-bullying programs. This is the first year that Woodland Elementary School will receive its designation banner. The school is part of more than 200 schools across the state currently participating in the No Place for Hate program, following Governor Ed Rendell’s endorsement in 2006. The No Place for Hate program was developed by the Anti-
Defamation League to provide a model for challenging bigotry and intolerance in communities, schools and college campuses.
