Police Seek Serial Shoplifter In Philadelphia Region

PHILADELPHIA REGION, PA — If you find that there are fewer bottles of Gatorade, Snapple, and Red Bull drinks on the shelves, it might have nothing to do with President Trump's tariffs.

The Lower Southampton Township Police are looking for a man who has been stealing from local grocery stores in the Philadelphia region.

Police said his product choice has mainly been stealing the drinks in bulk.

He fills a shopping cart and walks out without paying, police said. It appears he goes to a secluded area near the shopping centers and places the items in reusable carry bags, then leaves the area on foot.

One of his latest crimes, captured on surveillance cameras, was the ACME supermarket at 105 E. Street Road in Feasterville.

According to Action News 6, Lower Southampton Police believe the man may be a serial grocery thief.

Police said the recent crime in Feasterville took place on April 30, but that Jenkintown Police alerted them of a similar crime two days earlier in their borough.

Lower Southampton Police have experience with serial shoplifting suspects.

Last month, police nabbed a serial shoplifter who committed retail thefts in three counties, Philadelphia, and New Jersey.

Darryl S. Foreman, 31, of Philadelphia, was arrested after an investigation uncovered that he had committed 17 retail thefts from two businesses in Feasterville. Police said Foreman allegedly stole footwear from T.J. Maxx and the Burlington store in Feasterville between December 2022 and this March.
