Contractor Fraud Investigation Underway In Lower Southampton Twp.
Lower Southampton Township Police said an alleged "contractor" ripped off residents in the township and Feasterville-Trevose.
LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —"Tom and Gary" would show up at homes in the township and Feasterville-Trevose to do contracting work and then find ways to overcharge people for the projects, police said.
The Lower Southampton Township Police Department has launched a contractor fraud investigation where "Tom & Gary" of Superior Paving and Construction were hired by residents.
Police said that the "contractors" who began work and then find other issues at homes, telling residents they needed to charge them more money, and also providing insufficient work.

No township permits were applied for to perform the contracting, police said.
During the work, Superior Paving and Construction brought in an inspector by the name of “Steve,” who conspired with them to find issues, police said.

Police said a second inspector was contacted, “Tony” from MAGA Construction & Masonry, and he also allegedly conspired with Superior Paving and Construction to find more issues and further costs of the improvement projects.
Police ask Lower Southampton, Feasterville, and Trevose residents who used the contractors and were overcharged or received shabby, unfinished work to reach out to them.
