Heroin, Meth Found After 2 Charged In Feasterville Wawa Theft

Lower Southampton Township Police charged two Hatboro residents in the incident at the Wawa on Bustleton Pike on Monday.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Two people have been charged for not only swiping items from a Wawa store, but also having heroin and methamphetamines in their vehicle, police said.

The Lower Southampton Township Police Department responded at 8:31 a.m. on Monday to a report of a retail theft at the Wawa on 929 Bustleton Pike in Feasterville.

Wawa staff told police that the suspects had taken $60 worth of unpaid items and walked out, then entered a white Subaru parked in the rear lot.

Police officers found the suspects in the vehicle, enjoying their stolen food.

The suspects were identified as Nicole Hamlet, 28, of Hatboro, and Kevin Brizzi, 31, of Hatboro, who were positively confirmed by Wawa staff, police said.

In plain view, food and drink items from Wawa were seen on Hamlet's lap, while Brizzi was in mid-bite.

During a search, police uncovered suspected heroin, methamphetamines, and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

Hamlet and Brizzi were processed, and charges will be filed via summons for retail theft, receiving stolen property, and drug offenses.
