Ándale On Wheels will soon Mark One Year of Service with Police Athletic League; Expands to Second PAL Center

Philadelphia, PA — October 29, 2025 — Ándale On Wheels, the nonprofit food-truck initiative spear headed by Reza and Mirna Ghassemi committed to fighting child hunger in Philadelphia, today announced its one-year anniversary serving children at Police Athletic League (PAL) centers. Building on this milestone, the organization has added a second PAL location to its service area and has set a clear goal: to serve all seven PAL centers every weekday with a nutritious, warm dinner provided on-site.
“From day one, our vision was simple—kids learn, play, and thrive when they’re nourished,” said Reza Ghassemi, founder of Ándale On Wheels. “Reaching our one-year mark and expanding to a second PAL center proves what’s possible when a community rallies together. Our next chapter is even more ambitious: daily dinner service at all seven PAL centers across the city.”
Each Ándale On Wheels meal service is prepared with balanced, kid-approved recipes and delivered and served hot to PAL centers kids, ensuring kids have access to reliable evening nutrition that supports learning, athletics, and after-school programming in spite of government cutbacks on this essential benefit.

Ándale On Wheels invites the community to help fuel this expansion. Tax-deductible donations will directly increase the number of meals served per week and accelerate the timetable to reach all seven centers.
