Operation Santa: 2nd Annual Event Launched By Lower Southampton Police

The collection drive of toys, clothes, and household items run to Dec. 30. Donations can be made at the Lower Southampton police station.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The 2nd Annual "Operation Santa" collection drive is underway.

The Lower Southampton Township Police Department is taking donations from now through Dec. 20 at the department headquarters on 1500 Desire Ave. in Feasterville.

"We are looking for the following list of donations for local families in our community who need extra help spreading some wonderful Christmas cheer," the department said. "Our goal is to provide them with needs, necessities, and essentials. Any and all donations are much appreciated."

Anyone with donation-related questions should call the station at 215-357-1235 and ask to speak with Officer Kratz or Officer Rosenfeld directly.

In addition to items donated, the police department will also accept gift cards to any local grocery stores, retail stores (IE: Burlington Coat Factory, TJ Maxx, Five Below, Walmart) as well as restaurants/eateries.

Items needed include:

  • Women's Clothing Items: Female Jr.’s (Size 2-4 ) clothing items & winter coat, Women’s shoes/slippers (Size 8) Girl's clothing items including Socks & underwear (Size 8-10), Girls' Winter Boots (Size 2-2 ½).
  • Boys' clothing items: Pants, shirts, underwear & socks (Size 6) Boys' Winter Boots (Size 1-1 ½).
  • Boy’s Toddler clothing items: Underwear, shirts, pants & socks (Size 4T-5T), Boy’s Winter Boots (Toddler size).
  • Beauty Products: Cerave Facial Cleanser, lotions, sugar scrub, makeup pallet/mirror, eyeshadow pallet, perfumes, silver earrings, etc.
  • Hair Accessories: Claw clips, hair ties, brushes, etc. closet organizer.
  • Bedding: Girl’s/Boy’s bedding set(s), towel sets.
  • Home Needs: Fruit-scented candles, desk organizer.
  • Electronics: Bluetooth wireless headphones, walkie-talkies, radio, Fire tablet.
  • Toy Items: Squishmellows, Barbies & accessories, basketball/soccer ball, boy’s baseball glove/bat, Ninja and/or Army toys, boy’s Phillies or Eagles hat, Hot Wheels cars & racetrack, Roblox toys, Fortnite toys, Fire/Police Emergency vehicle toys Arts & Crafts supplies Age-appropriate board games for ALL ages: Life, Bugs in the Kitchen, etc.

The donation drive is sponsored by the Lower Southampton Township Police Department in partnership with the Feasterville Fire Company and the Lower Southampton Fire Company.
