LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — PECO Energy will begin a utility construction project that will close a section of County Line Road overnight for almost two weeks.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the work begins overnight Monday.

PennDOT said the work will take place on Close County Line Road in Philadelphia and Lower Southampton Township.

Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:

During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Route 532 (Bustleton Pike), Route 132 (Street Road), and Route 232 (Second Street Pike).

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
