DOYLESTOWN, PA — If you’re in the mood for a dose of holiday cheer, Bucks County is the place to be, according to a new listing compiled by Vogue Magazine.

In an online article appearing in the fashion magazine, Bucks County is shouted out as one of “The Best Christmas Towns in the USA for a Dose of Holiday Cheer.”

The article, published just in time for the holidays, suggests “19 holly jolly locales” across the United States to visit this holiday season, from New York City to Santa Fe, New Mexico.

In her article, Nicole Kliest writes, “The hallmarks of a Christmas town go beyond the expected decor, offering traditional markets, convivial programming, and an overall magical mood.”

In Bucks County, Kliest writes that “whether you’re sipping hot chocolate aboard a historic steam train in New Hope, or riding an open wagon through the holiday light show in Yardley, Bucks County is a cozy enclave for holiday happenings.”

Kliest adds, "One of the region’s most vibrant celebrations is at Peddler’s Village, where visitors can peruse 65 specialty shops, ride a 1920s carousel, and take in the impressive display of gingerbread houses."
