Serial Shoplifter Caught After Philly Region Spree

Lower Southampton Police said the man committed retail thefts in three PA counties, Philadelphia, and New Jersey.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A serial shoplifter who committed retail thefts in three counties, Philadelphia, and New Jersey is now in custody, police said.

The Lower Southampton Township Police Department said Darryl S. Foreman, 31, of Philadelphia, was arrested after an investigation uncovered that he had committed 17 retail thefts from two businesses in Feasterville.

Police said Foreman allegedly stole footwear from TJ Maxx and the Burlington store in Feasterville between December 2022 and this March.

Foreman was also identified by authorities in Philadelphia, Delaware County, Chester County, and New Jersey as committing similar thefts.

A preliminary hearing was held Wednesday for Foreman at Magisterial District Judge Baranowski’s Court where Foreman waived all the charges to the Court of Common Pleas for trial.

He was charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, and criminal conspiracy.

Bail was previously set for $75,000 with 10 percent for each case. Foreman will remain in the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
