Street Road Closed For Crash In Lower Southampton Twp.

Lower Southampton Township Police said the road is closed in both directions from the crash Tuesday afternoon.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Street Road is closed in both directions for a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

The Lower Southampton Township Police Department said they are investigating a serious accident at Street Road and Philmont Avenue.

Police are asking motorists to avoid the area.

PennDOT spokesman Brad Rudolph said the agency was alerted of the crash on Route 132 East (Street Road) at 1:13 p.m.

It was unknown how many injuries or vehicles were involved.

The Neshaminy School District said that elementary school bus delays are possible Tuesday afternoon due to the emergency Street Road closure.
