There’s Still Time To Catch Fall Festivals Near Lower Southampton

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Fall is a great time to get outside in Lower Southampton Township and take in the rich offering of festivals.

The changing colors of autumn provide a scenic background for fall and harvest festivals, which have contests ranging from apple bobbing and pumpkin carving to lumberjack contests and Halloween parades.

Fall is also the season for corn mazes, apple orchard and pumpkin patch visits.

There are many pumpkin patches to check out around the township.

Before you go, though, don't be surprised if pumpkin prices are on the rise.

Lower Southampton Township officials say that if you're looking for a scary good time, drive by the most spooktacular homes in the township and check out their displays. Please view the displays from your vehicle or sidewalk. And remember…it’s always best when viewed in the dark (dusk until 9 p.m.). • The Miracle League of Northampton Township is also holding its annual Halloween Bash on Oct. 29.
• Visit Bucks County has 10 perfect places to see the fall foliage.
• Lower Bucks has a long list of festivals and family events to enjoy the fall.

For those who like haunted tours, there are a few nearby.

• The Landis Ridge Tunnel in Perkasie has stories of ghostly sightings.
• The Historic Langhorne Association is hosting ghost tours through Oct. 30.
