• Hazleton man wanted for Banks Township shooting (shensentinel.com) — A nearby shooting in Banks Township has state police searching for 32-year-old Edwin Junior Vazquez, accused of attempted homicide after a woman was assaulted and shot but later released from the hospital. The Shenandoah Sentinel, which also serves Mahanoy City, urges anyone who spots him to call 911 and asks others with information to contact State Police in Hazleton.
