A new update project breaks ground on Sunday.

A 300-year-old building in Willistown is about to get a modern update.

Williston Friends Meeting is breaking ground on a new handicap access addition to its Meeting House on Sunday, July 14.

According to a release from the group, the new addition will cost nearly $500,000 and will give access to the house's three floors by way of a lift.

The group says the upgrade will keep the building's long history in mind.

"The new building will be 100 percent mindful of the historic importance of the building and in every possible way the new addition will be in harmony with that tradition," they said in a release.
