Malvern Environmental Lawyer Receives 'Spirit' Award

Malvern resident John Kirk, an environmental lawyer with offices in Bala Cynwyd, was recognized by the Association of Legal Administrators. Out of 10,000 members, Kirk was selected to receive the association's highest honor, the "Spirit of the ALA Award."

It was an evening filled with praise for the very humble Director of Administration John S. Kirk of Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox (MGKF), the environmental, energy and land use law firm headquartered in Bala Cynwyd, PA. On October 5, 2011 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia, the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) Philadelphia Chapter recognized one of their members, John Kirk, who was the recipient of the highest honor given on a national basis, The Spirit of ALA Award. Given only on rare occasions, out of the 10,000 members of this association, fewer than a dozen individuals have been bestowed such an honor.

According to the ALA, the award is "Presented to those whose commitment to professionalism, dedication to the advancement of law firm administration and record of long-term service to the Association of Legal Administrators sets the standard for all who aspire to achievement, excellence and success."
