Andrew Youngblood Named Headmaster at Reginal Luminis Academy
Andrew Youngblood has been named Headmaster of Regina Luminis Academy, a pre-k to12 Catholic classical education school located in Berwyn.

Berwyn, PA - Andrew Youngblood has been named Headmaster of Regina Luminis Academy, a
pre-k to12 Catholic classical education school located in Berwyn, PA. He was previously
Program Director for the Chesterton Scholars Program at Cardinal O’Hara High School in
Springfield, PA, a member of the Chesterton Schools Network, a consortium of classical Catholic
schools in the United States and abroad. Serving concurrently as the Director of Curriculum and
Instruction for the Chesterton Schools Network, he has helped found over 50 classical Catholic
schools.
Mr. Youngblood is recognized internationally as an expert in the field of classical Catholic
education with over 20 years of experience in teaching, administration, training, and consulting.
He is the author of a series for teenagers about Scripture, “The Covenant Kids,” and a book,
“Know Thyself, Classical Catholic Education and the Discovery of Self” to be published by Word
on Fire in October.
Born in Texas, Mr. Youngblood’s family moved frequently due to his father’s work as a civil
servant for the military. As a result, he attended middle and high school in Belgium where he
learned to speak French and Dutch. Upon returning to the States, he attended University of
Virginia and Christendom College for his undergraduate studies in History, and taught Theology
at Christendom College while pursuing his doctorate in Theology at the Catholic University of
America.

that bind us together – teachers, students, and parents – in sustaining a unique educational and
