Why are you seeking elective office?: I am concerned with the direction our state and country is heading.
The single most pressing issue facing our state/nation is: COVID-19
This is what I intend to do about it: Safely Re-Open PA while finding commonsense solutions to combat the virus.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?: I am a proven local leader who has spent 20 years as a businessman and healthcare professional helping improve patient outcomes. Carolyn Comitta is a career politician who is beholden to special interests. For the last 16 years she has taken over $100,000 from radical special interest groups.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the incumbent failed the district?: Carolyn Comitta has aligned herself with radical groups who support defunding the police. She has raised taxes as the mayor of West Chester, fought for higher spending in Harrisburg, and supports radical policies that will kill more jobs. She has also recently voted to continue the unreasonable restrictions on the hospitality/restaurant industry and school sports.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform:
1. Support the Police
2. Safely Re-open PA
3. School Choice for Families
4. Protect the Sanctity of Life
5. Liberty
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?: Proven local leader with a successful record of protecting taxpayers and keeping the community safe.
The best advice ever shared with me was: Every mistake is an opportunity to learn.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?: Kevin Runey is the leader we need is today's world; a commonsense political outsider who isn't beholden to any special interest group.
