Candle-Lighting Service for Sandy Hook

Information from Pastor Brenda Martin Hurst, of Frazer Mennonite Church at 57 Maple Linden Lane in Frazer:

[Frazer Mennonite Church will hold] a prayer and candle lighting service for Newtown, CT tonight at Frazer Mennonite at 7:15 p.m.  

Everyone in the community is welcome to come and pray for and with the people of Newtown, CT.     

The theme for this service is "The Light Shines in the Darkness."  

We will gather outside in the darkness to light candles for the 28 victims and to pray for their families.  Dress warm.   In the case of rain, we will move this service into the Frazer Mennonite Church sancutary.
