Free Shade Trees Available For Malvern Borough Residents

MALVERN, PA — Malvern Borough property owners who are looking for a bit more shade on their land can sign up to get a free tree.

The Malvern Borough Shade Tree Commission is again partnering with The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society to participate in The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation & Natural Resources' TreeVitalize Program.

Through the program, borough residents can get high quality, bare root, ready to plant shade trees.

Small, medium, and large trees are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

To get a free, email the Shade Tree Commission at malvernstc@malvern.org by no later than Friday, Jan. 28

Tree orders, size and species selection, instructions for planting and delivery dates will be communicated to interested residents. Site visits are also being offered by the Shade Tree Commission for tree selection and placement.
