Randy Graham, who handles marketing at Grand Slam, explained the concept behind the clinic—quality coaching will help young athletes stick with the sport.
"Our philosophy about coaching is based on the fact that 75% of kids that start playing Little League quit before they ever play on a full size baseball diamond. So we really want to teach coaches to train properly and keep it fun and active for kids so they stick with baseball," Graham wrote in an email.
