Great Valley Boys Grind Out First-Round Win in State Basketball Tournament
The Patriots are District 1's No. 4 seed.
In the lowest-scoring of the 16 first-round games in the PIAA AAAA boys' basketball championship, Great Valley High School defeated District 3's Wilson, 39-32, Saturday afternoon at Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School.
The Patriots have drawn District 11's top seed, Parkland, in the second round. The game will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at William Tennent High School in Warminster, Bucks County.
