Health Inspections In Malvern Area December
The Chester County Health Department inspects Malvern area restaurants to determine if they are following proper procedures.
MALVERN, PA —Health inspectors paid visits to numerous establishments in the Malvern area this month.
Inspectors found some establishments to violate health codes set by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

- Bomba Taco’s And Rum, 3 Liberty Blvd.: 4 violations: multiple sauce bottles without labels, under-counter cooler not cold enough, ice machine has growth along ice chute,and ice accumulation behind fan.
- El Limon, 446 Lancaster Ave., four violations: dented cans, raw animal foods, multiple sauce bottles without labels, and cups used as food dispensing utensils.
- Wawa, 5 Matthews Road, two violations: dirt in a walk-in freezer, food storage container in hand sink, and trash can blocking hand sink.
- Apple Spice, 480 Lancaster Ave.; one violation: five dented cans.
- Chickie and Pete’s Crab House, 10 Liberty Blvd.; 8 violations; unlabeled sauces, cup used to dispense food, salad bowls stored on top of uncovered food, large colander cracking, sauces passed use date, chlorine tests not available, dish surfaces not at the right temperature, and hand wash sink blocked.
- Tuk Tuk Thai Kitchen, Inc., 309 Lancaster Ave., 10 violations: raw animal food stored with ready-to-eat food, sauces unlabeled, food stored on the floor of walk-in cooler, soups not cooled down in required time, soups not stored at the proper temperature, kitchen storage containers cracked, hood vents have excessive grease and hand wash sink blocked.
