Kids Fest Saturday a Rain or Shine Event
The Kids Fest Extravaganza will feature the Philadelphia Zoo on Wheels, sports carnival, face painting, demonstrations and more.
The possibility of a little rain won’t be enough to stop State Rep. Duane Milne from hosting his annual Kids Fest Extravaganza at Great Valley Middle School on June 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event offers kids and their families a chance to enjoy plenty of entertainment, engage in many fun, hands-on activities, as well as learn important information presented in kid-friendly style by dozens of government, non-profit and community organizations.
Attendance, parking and food items will be free at the festival.

Some of the region’s emergency responders will also be on hand for safety education.
Those include a Jefferson Hospital helicopter landing and walk-thru, and Malvern Fire Company’s antique fire truck rides. Local fire, ambulance and police departments will be present to greet kids and allow them to explore their vehicles. Amidst the fun and games, the event will also promote physical fitness with an Activate Chester County Walk.
