Malvern Bank Helps Fill West Chester Food Cupboard

Malvern Bank passes on its late summer food drive harvest to the West Chester Food Cupboard, with an added cash donation.

MALVERN, PA — Malvern Bank's customers and employees brought non-perishable foods to Bank branches from July through September and the bank also made a cash donation matching the value of the food.

The donations will benefit one of the largest hunger relief agencies in Chester County, the West Chester Food Cupboard. The West Chester Food Cupboard reported it served 578 households each month in the last year.

July through September, Malvern Bank collected non-perishable food items from customers and employees. Malvern Bank now has donated the 195 pounds of food gathered through its food drive, along with the matching cash donation.
