Malvern-Based Public Reform Non-Profit Launches Website
The American Millennium Society is dedicated to the reform of public institutions to increase American competitiveness.

A recently formed Malvern-based non-profit has launched its new website and extended the terms of its board of directors, according to an announcement.
The American Millennium Society is a non-profit dedicated to the reform of public institutions to increase American competitiveness that was founded earlier this year.
“The launch of the site is a major milestone for the non-profit and will be complemented by numerous online presences,” the statement says.

According to Interim President Jeanne DiFrancesco, the website launch is “a crucial step for our organization as we launch broad online communications about our mission and regular updates of our progress.”
DiFrancesco’s seat on the board of directors, along with Cindy Green, Joan Demetriades and Anthony Priest, has been extended through December 31st, 2016. This extension will allow the Interim Board, who has served since the inception of AMS, to continue guiding the startup activities and impacting the early phases of the society’s current areas of focus, The Urban Education Initiative and the Economic Development Project.

According to the site, The Urban Education Initiative is designed to harness the capabilities of urban communities by engaging a broad coalition of civic leaders to create an integrated, community-based educational model that will support the development of energetic and engaged students.
The Urban Economic Development Program creates a three-step process involving the evaluation of the current positioning of the city as compared to other cities to meet the people’s needs of the future, then determining the goals and strategies to reach those goals.
