Parking Restricted for Malvern Bike Race
The Chesco Grand Prix is returning to Malvern, and it's bringing some parking restrictions with it.
Good news: the Chesco Grand Prix will come through Malvern on Monday, July 8.
Bad news: it is going to impact parking in the borough.
A number of local roads, including King Street, Church Street, Rutland Avenue and Roberts Lane will see one-time parking restrictions and limitations on July 8 in response to the race.
The full breakdown of how parking will be impacted can be viewed on the Grand Prix's website here, but here are some of the salient details:
- Monument Road between Powelton and Griffith will have parking on only one side.
- Channing Avenue will become a two way street between First and Roberts from 4 to 9 p.m. and will not host street parking.
- King Street will be closed starting at 3PM from Bridge to Warren.
