Update 5:45pm: The suspect is described as a white male, 5'10" to 6' tall, in his early to mid 20s. He was wearing black cargo pants and a green shirt.

According to police, the female homeowner had returned home and was about to enter her front door when she heard the rear sliding glass patio door shut. She then saw a man, described above, walking around the southern side of the house toward the street. The man turned south on Duffryn Avenue at a fast walk and fled west on Duffryn Trail, a wooded walking path connecting Duffryn Avenue to Malvern Borough.

The county sheriff's K-9 unit was able to track the suspect, according to police, and a subject matching the description was observed by multiple members of the at the fire station.
Neighbors said the burglar entered the home by breaking glass in the rear of the house.
A search is still underway, and a sketch of the suspect will be released soon, according to police.

are investigating a daytime burglary that took place on Duffryn Avenue Friday between 1st and 2nd avenues.
According to Det. Steve Jones, the homeowner walked in on the burglary in progress. The Chester County Sheriff's K-9 unit responded to help track the suspect, who has not been found.
