EXTON, PA — Snow has blanketed the Philadelphia region Friday, with some areas getting as little as 1.9 inches and got nearly 5 inches.

According to the National Weather Service, the highest snowfall total in the Philadelphia region was in Bucks County.

Doylestown and Levittown reported 4.9 inches.

The National Weather Service reports a total of 2.9 inches as of 5:21 a.m. Friday, measured by a member of the public.

Exton's total was the lowest in Chester County, according to the National Weather Service.

Chester County's snowiest area was East Nantmeal Township, which measured by a trained spotter at 6 a.m.
