Services Set For Everett Beauregard: Beloved Malvern Young Man

All touched by the "senseless loss" of the 23-year-old are invited to a visitation Thursday evening and a service Friday morning.

MALVERN, PA—Everett Beauregard was shot and killed in what police are calling a random act of violence while walking home after a night of trivia and gaming with close friends in Philadelphia. He was 23.

“His friends were his world and he moved to the city so he could spend more time with them,” according to his obituary in the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Police have offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Beauregard was a scholar and an athlete at Great Valley High School participating in Geography Olympiad, National History Bee, Varsity cross country and winter track.

He was a National Merit Scholar and Temple University graduate with a degree in political science. He worked on the presidential campaign in 2020 and campaigns for Congressman Brendan Boyle and State Rep. Kristine Howard.

Beauregard loved nature and the outdoors. Hawk Mountain was one of his favorite places. He loved spending time with his friends. He was working at Wells Fargo and planning to get an MBA when his life was cut short.

He is survived by his parents, Eric and Leslie; his sister, Ashleigh; and cat, Giannis.

All touched by his senseless loss are invited to visitation and companionship from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Mauger Givnish Funeral Home, 24 Monument Ave., Malvern. A memorial service and burial service is at 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Francis in the Fields, 689 Sugartown Road, Malvern.
