Star Student: Ayla Excels In Malvern

We all know students who excel in school, sports, and volunteer service. Here's one resident who excels in all three.

(Hallie Steinberg)

MALVERN, PA — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Hallie Steinberg, who nominated Ayla, of Malvern, Pennsylvania.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

"Ayla is a hardworking, motivated, and caring student who is motivated to be the best at what she does. She works extremely hard at school but still has time to play sports year-round, hang out with her family and friends and work at a school.

"Ayla is an extremely talented softball player and plays with her high school team as well as a travel team, Xtreme. She also swims for her high school and regularly works out at the gym. She is a part of the National Honor Society, and National Spanish Honor Society and works at a school as an after-school helper.

"Not only is Ayla extremely driven, but she also has a good heart and cares for her family and friends deeply. She is an overall wonderful person and makes the world a better place."

Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Ayla.
