Swedesford Road Lane Closing For 2 Weeks In East Whiteland

PennDOT said a lane on Swedesford Road will be closed for two weeks during the daytime on weekdays for shoulder erosion repair work.

EAST WHITELAND, PA — Drivers on Swedesford Road in East Whiteland will encounter weekday lane closure for two weeks, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, the weekday lane closure will begin Friday and last through Friday, Dec. 3.

Work will be done between Church Road and Planebrook Road/Phoenixville Pike in East Whiteland.

Closure hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. to accommodate shoulder erosion repair due to storm damage.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work zone because backups and delays may occur.
