Southeastern Pennsylvania is home to some of the nation's richest communities. How do the area's wealthiest enclaves compare?

The greater Philadelphia area is home to some of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the United States.

From the enclaves along the Main Line and horse country, to the banks of the Delaware River and the hills of Bucks County, Patch took a look at how the area's richest zip codes stacked up against each other.

To compile the list, data was taken from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey for the five-county Philadelphia region in southeastern Pennsylvania. The most recently available data is for the five years leading up to 2024.

The Main Line dominated the top of the list, snagging the first three spots and nine of the top 16. But Bucks and Chester counties were also well-represented.

The list below includes the zip code, the town name for that zip code, and the average annual household income.
