Traffic Alert: Bridge to Be Closed, Replaced
Church Road in Malvern will be closed starting Feb. 16; work is expected to be completed in the fall.
Chester County plans to replace the county-owned bridge over Valley Creek on Church Road in Malvern, Tredyffrin Township announced Wednesday.
The existing structure will be removed, the township said.
Church Road will be closed to through traffic starting Monday, Feb. 16. The work is expected to be completed in early fall.

During construction, traffic will be detoured to Yellow Springs Road, Route 29 and Swedesford Road, the township said.
