An Evening of Chamber Music Featuring MS. Anida Goga and the Llyria String Quartet
Violinist Anida Goga and the Ilyria String Quartet will perform an Evening of Chamber Music for free that's open to the public. Featured on the program will be Haydn's String Quartet No. 26 in G minor, Op 20, No. 3; Beethoven's String Quartet in C minor, Op 18. No. 4; and Tchaikovsky's String Quartet no.1 in D Second Movement (Andante Cantabile).
A pre-concert lecture and conversation will be provided by Dr. Michael Kelly. A reception will immediately follow the program. All are invited to meet Ms. Goga and the members of the Ilyria String Quartet. The Friends of the Marple Public Library famous refreshments will be served.
Violinist Anida Goga is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, with a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance. While in Rochester, she was the Principal Second Violin of the Eastman Philharmonic, and also played in the Eastman School of Music Symphony Orchestra and the Eastman Opera Theater Orchestra. Ms. Goga has studied violin with Zvi Zeitlin of the Eastman School of Music, Paul Arnold of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and Lorenc Radovani of the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana, Albania.
