Lane Closing On Marple Township Road Overnight Next Week

Crews will be doing paving work overnight next week as part of an effort to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of roads in the region.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — PennDOT said Lawrence Road in Marple Township will have a lane closure for several days next week due to paving work.

According to PennDOT, a lane closure will be in place on Lawrence Road from Sunday to Tuesday next week.

Crews will be working overnight, forcing the lane closure to be in place from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.

The affected portion of Lawrence Road is between Sproul Road/Route 320 and West Chester Pike/Route 3.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

This work is part of multiple ongoing projects to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highway across the five-county region, PennDOT said.
