PHMS Students Shine In Annual Delco Science Fair

BROOMALL–This year's Delaware County Science Fair highlighted winners and honorable mentions from several students at .

Sixth Grade

  • First Place: Abby Pancoast and for their project on "Saving Earth: One Green Roof at a Time." The girls also received $50 each from the PA Association of Retired Teachers and moved on to the Delaware Valley Science Fair on April 3.
  • Honorable Mention: Nick DiPrinzio, Chad Lairdieson, and Sam Stickley for their project on "Mold's Effect on the Mass of Foods."


Seventh Grade

  • Second Place: Competing with high school students in Division E for Botany is Katie Rice with her project on “How Does Your Garden Grow."
