Two Easter Egg Hunts in Marple Saturday Afternoon

Take the kids to an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 7, at noon.

In celebration of Easter this Sunday, local children and families will be able to participate in two, free Easter Egg hunts in on Saturday afternoon.

The two local Easter Egg hunts both start at 12 p.m. on Saturday:

  • Third Annual Bill and Susan Mayo Easter Egg Hunt, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The event is held at in Broomall. Every year, Broomall residents Bill and Susan Mayo sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt, where they donate everything to any child who wants to attend. The Easter Egg Hunt will include hot dogs, music, great prizes, and, of course, the Easter Bunny.
  • American Legion Marple Memorial Post's Annual Easter Egg Hunt, starting at 12 p.m. The event will take place at the old RETS School property on Malin Road and West Chester Pike in Broomall. The event will include a decorated egg contest with prizes awarded for best hand-painted, most comical, most original and fanciest egg. The decorated eggs should be delivered for judging at noon. Children ages 2 to 12 from Marple and Newtown townships are invited to participate and asked to bring a bag or basket to collect their eggs.
