Apple TV Production Now Filming This Saturday In Delco: PennDOT
Apple did not say what production is being filmed in Chester, but the upcoming show "Sinking Spring" has been filming locally recently.
CHESTER, PA — Apple Studios will now be filming a production in Delaware County this weekend, according to PennDOT.
Apple Studios, which produces programming for Apple TV, will be filming Saturday in Chester. Filming was set to occur next week, but PennDOT said Apple Studios has updated its schedule.
Due to the filming, from 6:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning on Thursday and Saturday, Ninth Street/U.S. 13 will be closed and detoured between Highland Avenue/U.S. 13 and Engle Street.

During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Highland Avenue, 7th Street, and Engle Street.
Apple representatives did not confirm to Patch which production is filming in the area.

However, Ridley Scott's upcoming Apple TV show "Sinking Spring" has been filming in Philadelphia recently.
"Sinking Spring" is about two Philadelphia friends who pose as DEA agents to rob a house then face the consequences of their actions when it turns out they robbed a large narcotics operation.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
